I've been making custom Family House paintings since 2012; they are fun and full of character, with a 'story book' feel to them.

A Family House Portrait is the perfect art gift for a family moving to a new home, a birthday or other special occasion.

Family members can be illustrated standing in front of the house, or if you prefer, waving from windows.

I'll need you to email me pictures of the house, as straight on as you can.

If possible, take close ups of any interesting architectural details, like the front door, or windows etc.

Also send me pictures of the people you'd like in the painting – let me know if you have a preference as to what you'd like them to be wearing.

Feel free to include your pets too.

If you can, please provide me with an address for the house, so I can check Google Street View for further reference.

Once I have all the references from you, I'll send you a pencil sketch for your approval – let me know if you need any changes.

When you are happy, I'll proceed with the final artwork.

Ideally, I need about 4–5 weeks' notice to complete a painting, but do let me know you need it earlier, as it depends on how busy I am – sometimes I can finish them sooner.

You'll receive the original artwork, unframed, in a biodegradable cellophane wrapper, protected with sturdy recycled card, in a hard-backed envelope.

If you want to frame your artwork I think the A4 frames from Poster Store look nice.

I send all commissions via Special Delivery, guaranteed by Royal Mail.
